Control life remotely

I just discovered the new Samsung Galaxy mobile phone whilst watching BBC Click.

New technology allows phones to easily sync with other devices so sharing is quick and simple, and life is generally easier.

Watch movies on the big screen from files downloaded on your phone. And quickly connect with your friend’s handset device using an app to share content or send your business card to a new prospect with a swipe of a finger.

What’s also impressive is the phone app that can operate anything on your car and could even stop car theft. Open your car door remotely, and if your car gets nicked watch the thief steal your car on the phone screen and use GPS to track the location. Smart stuff.

It’s only a matter of time before this becomes the mainstream way of life. Personally I’d love to use my iPhone to remotely control devices in my house. From boiling water in the kettle so I can have a cuppa when I get in from work, or diagnosing faults in appliances, or maybe an app that controls my boyfriend 😉
